Job summary

Cross Border Talents in Porto is seeking a Junior Accounts Receivable / O2C Specialist to support daily finance activities, including invoice processing, payments, and account updates. You will work with an international team to develop your analytical skills and gain hands-on experience in order-to-cash operations.

The role requires fluent French and English, a relevant degree, and 2+ years in a supervisory capacity, with the goal of meeting KPIs and delivering accurate financial records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–7 years in O2C, AR, or Finance Operations.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.

Responsibilities

• Support invoice processing, payment allocation, and customer account updates.
• Monitor outstanding invoices and assist with payment follow-ups.
• Review documents and verify customer account information.
• Assist with reconciliations and investigate basic billing discrepancies.
• Maintain records and update information in internal systems.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve queries.
• Follow financial procedures and internal controls.
• Identify discrepancies and escalate complex cases.
• Meet KPIs for accuracy, productivity, and processing times.
• Participate in training on finance systems and O2C processes.
