KCS IT, established in Lisbon with expanding hubs, invites applications for an Amazing IT Support Technician in Porto. This mid-level onsite role requires hands-on support across Windows and MacOS, hardware/software troubleshooting, ITSM tools, and strong customer service.

You will work with local and global IT teams, ensuring SLA adherence and accurate documentation. Fluency in English is mandatory, and candidates must reside in Portugal.

Qualificações

• Minimum 4+ years in IT desktop support or similar role.
• Experience in Windows and MacOS environments with hardware/software troubleshooting.
• Fluency in English and strong customer service mindset is mandatory.

We are looking for an Amazing: IT Support Technician

Seniority: Mid-level (4+ years)

Type of position: Onsite Porto. Candidates need to be already living in Portugal!

The amazing you, will have:

• Professional experience in IT Desktop Support, preferably in a Level 1/Level 2 support environment;
• Strong experience supporting Windows and MacOS environments;
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Messaging products;
• Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues for end users;
• Experience supporting laptops, desktops, tablets, mobile devices and iPhones;
• Experience with software installation, configuration, troubleshooting and reinstallation;
• Experience working with ITSM / ticketing tools, preferably ServiceNow;
• Understanding of Microsoft OS build methodologies and tools;
• Experience with corporate networking and Wi-Fi troubleshooting, including patching and root cause analysis;
• Experience managing and maintaining IT asset inventories;
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with a customer-oriented approach;
• Ability to manage technical requests and incidents, ensuring SLA requirements are met;
• Ability to document support interactions and maintain accurate technical documentation and knowledge bases;
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also contributing effectively to a team;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while also contributing to project-related activities;
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing business and support requirements;
• Ability to work closely with local and global IT support teams;
• Fluency in English is mandatory.

• Previous experience within the Banking or Financial Services sector;
• Experience with banking and financial software;
• ITIL Foundation certification;
• Microsoft certifications;
• Hardware-related certifications;
• Experience with disaster recovery processes and support requirements;
• Experience working with mobility services and mobile device management.
