Cognizant is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join our Lisbon team. You will provide remote desktop and software support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and help maintain a secure, efficient IT environment.

The role requires strong Windows and Microsoft 365 knowledge and English proficiency. As part of a global, collaborative organization, you will work with infrastructure and security teams, contribute to documentation, and participate in ongoing process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in Desktop Support, Service Desk, or IT Support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and user access issues.
• Familiarity with Active Directory and ticketing systems.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote support for desktop, laptop, and software-related issues.
• Diagnose and resolve incidents while maintaining a high standard of user support.
• Support operating system updates, software deployments, and device configurations.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams on complex technical issues.
• Maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Support endpoint security solutions and asset lifecycle activities.
• Monitor support queues and ensure timely resolution of incidents and requests.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency.
