act digital is seeking an experienced IT Release Manager to lead and govern the software release lifecycle within a critical production environment. You will ensure reliability, stability, and compliance of deployments across multiple projects and stakeholders, balancing operational excellence with risk management.

The role combines deep Git and release management expertise with strong organizational skills, cross-functional coordination, and clear communication with technical and business teams

Qualificações

• 8+ years in Release Management or related roles.
• Advanced Git knowledge, branching, and merge conflict handling.
• Experience with enterprise-scale governance and deployment coordination.

Responsabilidades

• Own and govern the end-to-end release process, ensuring adherence to deployment procedures, controls, and governance standards.
• Manage release planning activities, including Jira tracking, dependency coordination, and alignment across multiple delivery teams.
• Oversee Git branch management, merge activities, and release package preparation, ensuring deployment readiness and minimizing operational risk.
• Lead recurring release governance and alignment meetings, facilitating communications between technical and business stakeholders.
• Prepare production deployment documentation, release manifests, and operational execution plans.
• Assess delivery risks and make critical release decisions, including escalation, postponement, or cancellation when platform stability or business continuity may be impacted.
• Act as the primary point of contact for release-related topics, providing guidance and visibility to internal and external teams.
