Nimber is seeking an IT Release Manager to oversee release planning, deployment preparation, and coordination across cross-functional teams in Lisbon. The role emphasizes Git, Jira, Agile practices, and careful risk assessment to ensure stability and compliance throughout the delivery lifecycle.

You will lead release alignment meetings, manage branches and merges, and produce detailed deployment instructions, acting as the technical contact for release status and blockers.

Qualificações

• Hands-on expertise in Git, including branching strategies and conflict resolution.
• Experience in Release Management, Deployment Management, IT Operations, or similar roles.
• Strong Jira experience and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills for managing multiple workflows.
• Attention to detail and a rigorous approach to production deployments.
• Ability to make fast, informed risk-based decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication and meeting facilitation skills.
• Proactive, autonomous and solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to convey complex technical information clearly to stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee release planning and Jira ticket management.
• Manage Git branches, merges, and package creation.
• Coordinate and lead release alignment meetings with stakeholders.
• Prepare production deployments with manifests and operational instructions.
• Assess release risks and decide to postpone or abort deployments when needed.
• Monitor release landscape for blockers and dependencies.
• Act as technical point of contact for release status and deployment matters.
• Drive continuous improvement of release processes.
