Job summary

Baseyard is seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead IT operations, infrastructure and systems in our expanding manufacturing hub in Portugal. You will ensure a secure, reliable and scalable technology environment, overseeing Microsoft 365, identity management and licences while coordinating external IT and cybersecurity providers.

You will support ERP, engineering and production systems implementation, maintain security procedures and compliance, and manage IT budgets and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience leading IT operations, infrastructure and systems.
• Experience managing Microsoft 365, identity/access management and licences.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity, firewalls, VPNs and endpoint protection.
• Experience coordinating external IT providers and budgets.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
• Strong English and Portuguese communication skills.

We're looking for a hands-on, security-minded IT Manager to lead our IT operations, infrastructure and systems, ensuring a secure, reliable and scalable technology environment for our growing industrial operation.

What you'll do

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience managing IT infrastructure and end-user environments.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, networking, identity and access management.
• Understanding of cybersecurity, firewalls, VPNs, encryption and endpoint protection.
• Experience coordinating external IT providers.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Good English and Portuguese communication skills.

Nice to have: Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Defender, AWS, ISO 27001, NIS2 or IT infrastructure in manufacturing environments.
