Job summary

Planck Technologies in Lisbon seeks a seasoned Business Analyst with portfolio management and IT governance experience to drive IT transformation programs and deliver measurable value for clients.

You will use LeanIX and Power BI to model data and prepare management presentations, ensuring strategic alignment of initiatives, apps and resources.

Strong English is required; you will apply AI tools to improve analysis, reporting and governance activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in business analysis, portfolio management, IT governance or IT transformation projects.
• Proficient with LeanIX and Power BI including data modelling.
• Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to work independently.
• Very good English skills required.
• Experience using AI tools to enhance analysis and reporting.
• Understanding IT financials and cost allocation as part of business cases.

Responsibilities

• Support portfolio planning, prioritisation and regular reviews, considering strategic alignment, expected benefits, risks and team capacity.
• Analyse business requirements and contribute to business cases, roadmaps and management presentations.
• Maintain application information, ownership and dependencies in LeanIX, ensuring alignment with initiatives and business needs.
• Develop and maintain Power BI reports and data models covering costs, actuals versus forecasts, resource allocation and delivery progress.
• Collaborate with data owners to improve data quality, automate reporting and clarify cost allocation.
• Support the analysis of portfolio performance and provide insights to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Participate in stakeholder workshops and support governance processes.
• Document decisions, track actions and ensure follow-up.
• Identify opportunities to use AI tools to enhance analytical activities, reporting processes and operational efficiency.
• Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to improve transparency, alignment and portfolio management practices.

• Experience in business analysis, portfolio management, IT governance or IT transformation projects.
• Practical experience with LeanIX and Power BI, including data modelling.
• Experience in strategy consulting, management consulting or a similar internal advisory role is a plus.
• Understanding of IT financials, business cases and the relationship between initiatives, applications and resources.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure complex information and communicate findings clearly.
• Experience working with different stakeholders and managing work packages independently.
• A relevant degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Very good English skills (mandatory).
• Ability to leverage AI tools to improve analysis, reporting and day-to-day activities.
