Job summary

Expleo Group in Portugal seeks a seasoned business analyst to support governance, reporting and portfolio planning. You will build Power BI reports and data models, analyse costs and delivery progress, and ensure data quality across initiatives.

Collaborating with data owners and stakeholders, you will translate complex requirements into actionable insights while contributing to strategic roadmaps and governance processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in business analysis, portfolio management or IT governance.
• Practical experience with LeanIX and Power BI for data modelling and reporting.
• Experience in strategy consulting or advisory roles is a plus.
• Understanding IT financials, cost allocation and business cases.

Responsibilities

• Support portfolio planning and regular reviews, evaluating strategic fit, benefits, risks and team capacity.
• Analyse business requirements and contribute to roadmaps and management presentations.
• Maintain application information, ownership and dependencies in LeanIX.
• Develop Power BI reports and data models covering costs, actuals vs forecast and progress.
• Work with data owners to improve data quality and automate reporting.
• Support governance workshops and document decisions and actions.

Responsibilities

• Support portfolio planning, prioritisation and regular reviews, considering strategic fit, expected benefits, risks and team capacity;
• Analyse business requirements and contribute to business cases, roadmaps and management presentations;
• Maintain application information, ownership and dependencies in LeanIX, linking them to initiatives and business needs;
• Develop Power BI reports and data models covering costs, actuals versus forecast, resource allocation and delivery progress;
• Work with data owners to improve data quality, automate reporting and clarify cost allocation;
• Support stakeholder workshops and the introduction of governance processes, documenting decisions and following up agreed actions.

Essential Skills

• Experience in business analysis, portfolio management, IT governance or transformation projects;
• Practical experience with both LeanIX and Power BI, including data modelling;
• Experience in strategy consulting, management consulting or a comparable internal advisory role is an advantage;
• An understanding of IT financials, business cases and how initiatives, applications and resources connect;
• A structured, analytical approach, with the ability to break down complex questions and explain findings clearly;
• Confidence working with different stakeholders and contributing independently to agreed work packages;
• A relevant degree or equivalent practical experience;
• Ability to take advantage of AI, to explore practical ways to use it in analysis, reporting and everyday work;
• English B2 or above.
