A specialized software development firm in Portugal is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to gather requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate must have a degree in Technology or Computer Engineering, along with a minimum of 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, particularly in the Healthcare sector. Strong skills in UML and BPMN modeling are preferred, along with proficiency in tools like Jira and Confluence. Fluency in Portuguese and a good level of English are also necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Gather requirements from stakeholders and validate business needs
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive requirements documentation
• Create system functional specifications and ensure alignment with technical teams
• Use UML and BPMN to model business processes and system flows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment (Scrum/Kanban)
• Utilize tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure, and Figma to manage requirements and documentation.

What We’re Looking For:

• Degree in Technology, Computer Engineering, or a similar field (mandatory);
• Minimum 6 years of experience as a Business or Functional Analyst;
• 2 to 5 years of experience in the Healthcare sector;
• Strong skills in UML and BPMN modeling;
• Experience in creating functional specifications and system documentation;
• Knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and/or Azure;
• Familiarity with Scrum/Kanban methodologies;
• Fluency in Portuguese (spoken and written);
• Good level of English (spoken and written).
