Job summary

Cross Border Talents is seeking a Junior Finance Operations Specialist to support end-to-end Order-to-Cash activities in a hybrid Porto setting. You will process orders, invoice customers, apply payments, and assist with reconciliations.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s in Commerce, Accounting or Finance, with at least 6 months in AR/O2C. You should be fluent in French and have advanced English, plus strong Excel and ERP familiarity (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance.
• At least 6 months of experience in Accounts Receivable, O2C or Finance Operations; 2–5 years is a plus.
• Strong French, both spoken and written.
• Advanced English (C1).
• Knowledge of accounting and finance principles.
• Good analytical skills and MS Excel knowledge; VLOOKUPs and PivotTables are valuable.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or NetSuite is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders accurately and on time.
• Generate invoices and credit notes per policies.
• Perform daily cash application of customer payments.
• Monitor AR aging and follow up on overdue invoices.
• Support simple customer queries and escalate complex disputes.
• Assist with reconciliations, month-end and quarter-end closing, and audits.
• Maintain accurate customer master data in the ERP system.
