OPTIMISTIC in Lisbon seeks a Technical Sales Engineer to drive international business development, focusing on Asia, Africa and South America, collaborating with sales and engineering teams to tailor solutions for demanding industrial applications.

You will identify prospects, gather technical requirements, support quotations and tenders, and maintain CRM records to ensure timely follow-up of opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years in technical B2B sales, application engineering or similar.
• Fluent English; French and/or Portuguese are valuable assets.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify prospective customers and international business opportunities.
• Understand customer applications and gather technical information for solutions.
• Support quotations, technical proposals, tender responses and presentations.
• Coordinate with engineering to translate requirements into technical and commercial proposals.
• Research target markets and potential partners; keep CRM records accurate.
