Job summary

CMA CGM in Porto, Portugal, is seeking a proactive Customer Service Assistant to support and coordinate delivery activities, working closely with our Shared Service Center, internal teams, agencies and customers. You will contribute to optimizing customer service and ensuring a high-quality CX.

This role provides exposure to an international logistics environment and opportunities to grow within CMA CGM Group, a global leader in shipping and logistics.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused and able to work in a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication in English and fluent Portuguese.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cargo release activities (on-carriage and empty returns).
• Support pre-invoicing controls and invoicing processes.
• Prepare and send Notices of Arrival (NOA).
• Follow up on idle situations and escalations.
• Promote relevant CMA CGM products and services.
• Support system updates and coordination with involved teams.
• Provide guidelines and support to the customer service team.
• Support KPI monitoring and CX objectives.
• Participate in process optimization and digital transformation initiatives.
