Inetum in Portugal seeks an Application Support Engineer to join Securities Services, supporting Payment Processing applications for the German market. You will ensure stability and performance of critical systems, collaborate with business users, development and IT teams, and drive continuous improvement through automation and knowledge sharing.

Qualificações

• Experience supporting Payment Processing platforms.
• Strong Oracle SQL proficiency.
• Scripting skills in Shell, Python or Bash.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux environments.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes is a plus.
• Experience with Ansible and DevOps practices.
• English language proficiency required for professional use.

Responsabilidades

• Provide application support and incident management for Payment Processing platforms.
• Understand business workflows to support users and troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure coverage during assigned shifts and contribute to operational excellence.
• Manage incidents, service requests, and tasks via ticketing systems.
• Communicate updates with business users, project teams, and stakeholders.
• Investigate root causes and propose permanent fixes.
• Monitor application performance and identify risks or issues.
• Document procedures, incidents, solutions, and best practices.
• Assist onboarding and training for team members.
• Collaborate during deployments, releases, and upgrades.
• Participate in on-call, weekend and holiday rotations.
