HN Services Portugal is seeking an Application Support Engineer – Payment Processing in Lisbon/Porto to join an international IT environment. The role focuses on Level 2/3 application support, tackling incidents and issues, and driving automation with Oracle SQL, Linux/Windows, scripting and DevOps.

The candidate will support production platforms, manage incidents, and collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure availability.

Qualificações

• Experience in Application Production Support / IT Support.
• Mandatory knowledge of Oracle SQL.
• Good knowledge of scripting languages and automation.
• Experience with Linux and Windows environments.
• Knowledge of Unix is a plus.
• Knowledge of Ansible / DevOps.
• Understanding of ITIL principles is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and understand the relationship between applications, infrastructure and business processes.
• Experience in banking / financial services / payment processing is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide application support for Payment Processing platforms within Securities Services.
• Support the business in their IT needs, understanding workflows and operational scenarios.
• Ensure proper production coverage according to shift requirements.
• Manage incidents, tickets, tasks and production issues.
• Provide regular updates to business stakeholders and teams.
• Investigate technical issues, patches and releases; identify systemic problems.
• Document incidents, solutions and procedures for knowledge sharing.
• Support training and onboarding of team members.
• Work with other team members to improve coverage and support.
• Develop scripts and automation to improve repetitive tasks.
• Contribute to continuous improvements and operational efficiency.
• Work with Linux, Windows, Unix environments when required.
• Participate in weekend and holiday support on a rotational basis.
• Strong experience in Application Production Support / IT Support.
