Job summary

DETAILS - Hospitality, Sports, Leisure is seeking a Sales Manager to drive commercial development across a Vilamoura hotel portfolio, targeting Corporate, Leisure, Groups and MICE segments.

You will manage key accounts, negotiate terms, and collaborate with Revenue Management to optimise pricing and distribution. The role requires strong relationship skills, travel readiness, and fluency in English; Portuguese is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business or related.
• At least five years hotel sales experience, ideally international/multi-property.
• Proven ability to manage key accounts and negotiate commercial terms.
• Strong commercial judgement with targets, forecasts and performance data.
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-management skills.
• Fluent English; Portuguese proficiency is an advantage.
• Availability for business travel and events participation.
• Experience with Opera, Cvent, CRM platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall commercial strategy.
• Develop and implement segment-specific sales action plans.
• Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts and opportunities.
• Lead negotiations with operators, agencies and corporate clients.
• Ensure timely contracts and clear communication with partners.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management on pricing and parity.
• Partner with MICE and hotel ops to deliver group business.
• Prepare compelling proposals aligned with pricing guidelines.
• Plan sales calls, events and familiarisation trips.
• Maintain accurate pipeline data and provide forecasts.
