Job summary

adidas GBS Porto HR Services seeks a capable leader to guide a team of 4–15 professionals, drive performance, and align with global HR strategy. You will coach, recruit, and develop the team while ensuring SLA adherence and KPI delivery.

You will collaborate with Market BPs, Operational Teams and Compliance, manage onboarding, data integrity, and stakeholder relationships, while supporting end-to-end HR processes in a fast-paced shared services environment.

Qualifications

• University degree in HR, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• 4+ years in HR Operations, Shared Services or Business Services.
• Proven work experience in people management over a medium-sized team.
• Broad and deep theoretical understanding of HR functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 4–15, ensuring performance and KPI achievement.
• Coach, train, motivate and conduct performance appraisals.
• Actively participate in recruiting for the team.
• Contribute to Employee Life Cycle and HR processes with input.
• Onboard and integrate new team members.
• Maintain proactive relationships with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Supervise daily operations, adhere to SLAs and report KPIs.
• Handle escalations and resolve issues as needed.
• Ensure data quality across systems and perform quality checks.
• Execute day-to-day tasks per internal desktop procedures.
• Monitor work requests and ticketing/e-mail queues.
• Prepare for transitions and onboarding of new tasks.
