Job summary

L Hotel Fátima, opening in October 2026, is building its founding front desk team. As a Receptionist you will welcome guests warmly from check-in to check-out, manage reservations by phone, email, walk-in and OTAs, and handle payments with accuracy.

We offer rotating shifts including mornings and afternoons, weekends, and a role reporting to the Hotel Manager. Fluency in Portuguese and English is required; additional languages are a strong advantage, and prior hotel or customer service

Qualifications

• Professional experience in hotel reception or customer service.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English; additional languages preferred.
• Comfortable with computers; familiarity with PMS is a plus.
• Available for rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in and out and manage room allocations.
• Handle reservations via phone, email, walk-in and OTAs.
• Process payments and balance cash at shift end.
• Provide local information about Fatima sites and tours.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and porter on luggage.
• Register foreign guests per Portuguese reporting requirements.
• Maintain a tidy lobby and front desk.
