Job summary

Thales Group is seeking a People Support Services Team Manager to lead a France-focused HR Shared Services team from Lisbon. Hybrid work arrangement with a focus on delivering high-quality HR services, compliance with French labour laws, and continuous process improvements.

The role requires fluency in French and English, a Bachelor's degree in HR or related fields, and experience leading HR operations with a KPI-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or related field.
• Experience in HR operations, People Services, HR Shared Services, or similar environment with team leadership responsibilities.
• Good understanding of French employment legislation and HR administrative practices.
• Ability to lead, motivate, coach and develop a team while fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Experience working with KPIs, SLAs, operational metrics, and service quality standards in a customer-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in HR systems and tools, including Workday, ServiceNow, or similar HRIS.
• Fluency in French and English with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the PSS team, allocate workloads, set priorities, and ensure service levels and quality.
• Oversee HR administrative and employee support services for France with accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage team performance, development, and engagement through objective setting and feedback.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies, data protection, and French labour legislation.
• Drive continuous improvement by standardising processes and enhancing service quality.
• Monitor KPIs and service levels, analyse trends and implement corrective actions.
• Manage stakeholder relationships with local HR teams, HR Business Partners, and employees.
• Support change initiatives, process harmonisation, and HR systems improvements.
