Job summary

CloserHire is partnering with a global leader in customer experience solutions to recruit a French-speaking Customer Service Representative for a major consumer credit platform in Braga, Portugal.

You will respond to inbound inquiries by phone, analyze needs, offer credit options, and build lasting relationships while maintaining confidentiality and compliance. The role requires French fluency, good English, rotational shifts, and holding NIF/NISS for health insurance enrollment.

Qualifications

• Fluent in French (C1) with strong written and spoken skills.
• English proficiency for internal communication.
• Experience in customer service or call centers is an advantage.
• Empathetic, patient, and able to handle sensitive financial discussions.
• Availability for rotational shifts (Mon-Sat).

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound customer inquiries by phone regarding existing credit accounts.
• Analyze customer needs to personalize interactions and propose suitable credit options.
• Build long-term relationships and maximize commercial opportunities.
• Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with internal procedures and security standards.
