Job summary

Cross Border Talents is seeking a Customer Specialist for a Car Rental Project in Porto. You will provide frontline support across phone, email and chat to help customers with reservations, vehicle information and rental services.

You will work in an international team, using French and English, handle inquiries, changes and issues, and participate in ongoing training. Onsite role with competitive pay and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Fluent in French (C1/C2) and English (B2).
• EU citizenship or Portuguese residency.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in customer support.
• Strong analytical, creative, and communication abilities.
• Professional, detail-oriented, proactive and eager to grow in the CS field.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality customer-focused support via phone, email, live chat.
• Respond to questions about reservations, vehicle availability, payment procedures, and pickup/return arrangements.
• Provide accurate information aligned with policies and service standards.
• Assess customer needs and identify suitable solutions quickly.
• Handle concerns and complaints professionally; route complex cases to appropriate departments.
• Process booking changes, cancellations, extensions, and other service-related matters.
• Document interactions in internal systems.
• Collaborate with rental branches to investigate issues and resolve.
• Contribute to customer satisfaction through high service quality.
• Participate in ongoing training on vehicle categories, rental options, booking procedures, and guidelines.
