Claranet limited in Funchal, Portugal, is seeking a Field Technician to integrate our internal team. You will provide first and second-line onsite technical support to end users, diagnosing and resolving incidents related to computers, peripherals, Windows and Microsoft 365, and local networks.

The role requires a valid driver's license, willingness to travel across the Madeira region, and residence in Madeira.

Qualificações

• Proven professional experience providing onsite technical support in a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Client operating systems and Microsoft 365.
• Solid understanding of local area networks (LAN).
• Experience using ticketing systems.
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within the region.

Responsabilidades

• Provide first and second-line onsite technical support to end users.
• Diagnose and resolve incidents related to computer equipment and peripherals.
• Maintain Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
• Manage local networks and connectivity.
• Support meeting rooms and collaboration equipment.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software.
• Log, track, and update incidents and service requests using a ticketing system.
• Travel across the Madeira region to provide onsite support.

Your responsibilities include:

• Providefirst and second-line onsite technical support to end users;
• Diagnoseand resolve incidents related to:
  Computerequipment and peripherals;
• Windowsoperating systems;
• Microsoft365;
• Localnetworks and connectivity;
• Meeting rooms and collaborationequipment;
• Install,configure, and maintain hardware and software;
• Support themanagement of the local IT infrastructure;
• Log, track,and update incidents and service requests using a ticketing system;
• Ensures requests are monitored through to resolution;
• Liaise with internal and/or external technical teams when required;
• Travel across the Madeira region to provide onsite support.

You must have:

• Provenprofessional experience providing onsite technical support within a corporateenvironment;
• Strongknowledge of Windows Client operating systems and Microsoft 365;
• Solidunderstanding of local area networks (LAN);
• Experienceusing ticketing systems;
• Validdriver's licence and availability to travel within the region;
• Residencein the Madeira region.
