Moniepoint in Portugal is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to drive delivery across cross-functional teams. You will translate requirements into actionable EPICs and stories, and coordinate with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to refine the backlog for predictable outcomes.

You will plan sprints, enforce strong engineering standards, monitor velocity, and balance resources to meet milestones. A deep background in backend and system design is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, engineering or a related field.
• 8–10 years as a Software Developer or Engineer.
• 5+ years of engineering leadership experience.
• Solid grasp of Agile, sprint planning, backlog grooming.
• Proven ability to translate product requirements into EPICs and tasks.

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end delivery across cross-functional teams.
• Translate requirements into EPICs, user stories and tasks.
• Collaborate with PMs, UX and engineers to refine the backlog.
• Plan and drive sprint execution with clear goals.
• Champion engineering processes and rituals for team efficiency.
• Monitor velocity and capacity to optimize resources.
