Job summary

Moniepoint Group is seeking an Engineering Manager (Site Reliability) in Lisbon to lead delivery within the SRE tooling team. You will translate product requirements into EPICs and manage end-to-end technical planning with engineers, PMs, QA, and UX, ensuring timely, high-quality feature delivery.

You will guide sprint planning, track velocity, and maintain strong collaboration across stakeholders while upholding engineering standards and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience as a software engineer or similar.
• 5+ years of Node.js / Python experience.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies, sprint planning and backlog management.
• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery and execution within the Site Reliability engineering tooling team; translate requirements into EPICs and technical stories.
• Plan and organize sprints with defined goals, establish timelines and milestones, and identify dependencies early.
• Track team velocity and coordinate dependencies across stakeholders to prevent bottlenecks.
• Contribute to design patterns and code reviews to uphold high-quality standards.
• Ensure monitoring and observability with defined SLIs/SLOs; publish post-deployment metrics with Product Managers.
