Moniepoint Inc. is expanding its engineering leadership in Portugal and seeks an experienced Engineering Manager to drive end-to-end delivery across cross-functional teams.

You will translate complex product requirements into actionable EPICs and stories, orchestrate collaboration among engineers, product managers, QA, and UX, and maintain high technical standards. With 8–10 years in software development and 3+ years in leadership, you will guide sprint planning, backlog grooming, and execution

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 8-10 years of experience as a Software Developer/Engineer or similar hands-on technical role.
• 5+ years of strong experience building production systems using Java and Spring Boot.
• Minimum 3 years of proven engineering leadership experience managing high-performing teams.
• Solid grasp of Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and iterative delivery.

Responsabilidades

• Own end-to-end delivery across cross-functional teams within your product area, ensuring predictable outcomes.
• Translate requirements into EPICs and technical user stories, ensuring architectural alignment.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Engineers to refine backlogs and plan sprints.
• Guide design decisions, enforce coding standards, and participate in code reviews to maintain quality.
• Drive deployment practices, CI/CD pipelines, and surface dependencies early to avoid bottlenecks.
