Andaz Lisbon, newly opened luxury lifestyle hotel, seeks a Waiter/Waitress to deliver personalized, high-quality service reflecting the Andaz spirit and creating memorable dining experiences. You will be part of a team in a vibrant central Lisbon setting, contributing to guest satisfaction and brand standards.

Ideal candidates have fluency in English, experience in luxury hospitality, and a passion for guest service.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication and professional presentation.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Experience in luxury hotels or restaurants preferred.
• Knowledge of wines and gastronomy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing duties for your station.
• Greet guests warmly and escort them to tables.
• Guide guests throughout their dining experience with attentiveness.

Andaz Lisbon is looking for a Waiter/ Waitress to join its team! As a Waiter/Waitress, you will play a key role in delivering personalized, thoughtful, and high ‑ quality service that reflects the Andaz spirit and creates memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete opening and closing duties for your station
• Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables
• Assist and guide guests throughout their dining experience, ensuring comfort and attentiveness
• Ensure all materials, equipment, and service tools are in excellent condition
• Monitor dining areas (lunch/dinner) to ensure availability, organization, safety, and guest well‑being
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and brand standards
• Maintain a polished, professional personal appearance in line with Andaz standards
• Protect proprietary and confidential information and safeguard company assets
• Monitor the guest experience throughout the meal, anticipating needs and resolving issues promptly
• Acknowledge and welcome all guests according to company standards
• Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and colleagues
• Answer phone calls using proper etiquette and service standards
• Build and maintain positive, collaborative working relationships
• Meet all quality assurance expectations and brand service standards

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication and professional presentation
• Strong customer focus and ability to personalize service
• Agility, attention to detail, and strong awareness of guest needs
• Knowledge of wines and gastronomy is a plus
• Team‑oriented, with good time‑management skills
• Ability to stay calm and courteous under pressure
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
• Previous experience in luxury hotels or restaurants, ideally within lifestyle hospitality
• Technical training or courses in hospitality, gastronomy, or related fields are a plus
