Andaz Lisbon, a newly opened luxury lifestyle hotel in Lisbon, seeks a Waiter/Waitress to deliver personalized, high-quality dining experiences reflecting the Andaz spirit.

You will greet guests, guide them through their dining experience, and maintain impeccable service standards in a vibrant Baixa district setting. Fluency in English is required, with additional languages a plus.

• Perform complete opening and closing duties for your station.
• Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.

• Ensure all materials, equipment, and service tools are in excellent condition.
• Monitor dining areas to ensure availability, organization, safety, and guest well-being.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and brand standards.
• Maintain a polished, professional personal appearance in line with Andaz standards.
• Protect proprietary and confidential information and safeguard company assets.
• Monitor the guest experience throughout the meal, anticipating needs and resolving issues promptly.
• Acknowledge and welcome all guests according to company standards.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and colleagues.
• Answer phone calls using proper etiquette and service standards.
• Build and maintain positive, collaborative working relationships.
• Meet all quality assurance expectations and brand service standards.

Located in the heart of Lisbon’s vibrant Baixa district, along the city’s main pedestrian street, Rua Augusta, the hotel is spread across five distinct buildings, including the former headquarters of one of Portugal’s major banks, Banco Português de Investimento (BPI).

Andaz Lisbon is looking for a Waiter/ Waitress to join its team!

As a Waiter/Waitress, you will play a key role in delivering personalized, thoughtful, and high ‑ quality service that reflects the Andaz spirit and creates memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the guest experience throughout the meal, anticipating needs and resolving issues promptly

Qualifications

Perfil:

• Excellent verbal communication and professional presentation
• Strong customer focus and ability to personalize service
• Agility, attention to detail, and strong awareness of guest needs
• Knowledge of wines and gastronomy is a plus
• Team‑oriented, with good time‑management skills
• Ability to stay calm and courteous under pressure
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
• Previous experience in luxury hotels or restaurants, ideally within lifestyle hospitality
• Technical training or courses in hospitality, gastronomy, or related fields are a plus
