Job summary

Andaz Lisbon, a luxury lifestyle hotel in the heart of Lisbon, seeks a Waiter/Waitress to deliver thoughtful, high-quality service and create memorable dining experiences for guests.

You will greet guests, guide them through their dining journey, and maintain impeccable service with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Prior luxury hospitality experience and wine knowledge are a plus, with opportunities for development and staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication and professional presentation.
• Strong customer focus and ability to personalize service.
• Agility, attention to detail, and strong awareness of guest needs.
• Knowledge of wines and gastronomy is a plus.
• Team-oriented, with good time-management skills.
• Ability to stay calm and courteous under pressure.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Previous experience in luxury hotels or restaurants, ideally within lifestyle hospitality.
• Technical training or courses in hospitality, gastronomy, or related fields are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Protect proprietary and confidential information and safeguard company assets.
• Monitor the guest experience throughout the meal, anticipating needs and resolving issues promptly.
• Acknowledge and welcome all guests according to company standards.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and colleagues.
• Build and maintain positive, collaborative working relationships.

As a Waiter/Waitress, you will play a key role in delivering personalized, thoughtful, and high ‑ quality service that reflects the Andaz spirit and creates memorable dining experiences for our guests.
