CloserHire is recruiting a Dutch-speaking Support Specialist for a remote role based in Portugal. You will assist customers and sellers across an international e-commerce platform, delivering high-quality service via phone and email and handling a wide range of inquiries.

Job description

In this position, you will support a major international e-commerce platform, assisting customers and sellers with a wide range of inquiries. You will be part of a dynamic team delivering high-quality service through phone and email, ensuring a smooth and reliable customer experience.

Day to day that means provide customer support via phone and email, ensuring a professional and friendly experience, assist with inquiries related to orders, deliveries, payments, and returns, troubleshoot customer issues and provide clear, effective solutions, act as a point of contact for external sellers, supporting their questions and needs, provide information about digital products and platform services, elevate and route more complex issues to the appropriate internal teams, and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and follow internal processes.

What you need to bring

Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail

Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Comfortable working with digital tools and customer management systems

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Previous experience in customer support or service roles is an advantage

Fluent in Dutch (spoken and written) with good English skills
