Job summary

Cross Border Talents is seeking a Dutch-speaking Customer Support Specialist to assist customers on an online payments platform in a remote Portugal-based role. You will handle account, payment and collection inquiries, explain product details and help customers find suitable solutions.

The role requires fluent Dutch and English, 1–2 years in customer service, and strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.

About the Role

• Fluent Dutch and English.
• One to two years of experience in customer service, retail, hospitality or a call-centre environment preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in financial services, online businesses or transaction processing is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and confidence learning new software.
• Ability to multitask, prioritise work and operate independently with discretion.

€1,050–€1,150 gross/month (source salary: €1,100)

Location & Work Arrangement

Remote, Portugal-based; Lisbon is the stated base location

Working Schedule

Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00; weekends off.

Relocation

Preference for candidates already residing in Portugal. Relocation/accommodation support may be considered in exceptional cases.

Benefits

€2,000 welcome bonus paid in 12 monthly instalments during the first year; €7.63 net meal allowance per working day; €80 complexity bonus.
