BFF Bank spa, Portugal, is seeking a Specialist, Credit Collection to join its international team and focus on the Portuguese market. You will support credit management, negotiate payment plans, and monitor debtor accounts.

The role requires native Portuguese, English at B2 level or higher, advanced Excel, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin or Law. Hybrid work model with 3 days in office and 2 days from home.

Qualifikationen

• 2–3 years of experience in credit monitoring or debt collection.
• Native Portuguese speaker with English at B2+ level.

Aufgaben

• Support the Credit Management Manager in handling portfolio activities and debtor relationships.
• Participate in negotiations of payment plans.
• Send payment reminders and manage debtors' feedback.
• Upload and update invoice statuses in the system.
• Verify and monitor debtors' accounts.
• Track exposure volumes and portfolio performance.
• Collaborate with the internal Legal Department on initiation and management of legal actions.
• Request supporting documentation related to receivables purchased by the Bank.
• Maintain and update information within internal IT tools, including invoice status, negotiation stages, payment allocation, and related activities.
• Manage retrocessions to be paid by clients.

It is the largest specialized finance operator in Italy, as well as a leader in Europe in managing and disposing of non-performing commercial credit claims against Public Administrations. The Group also leads in Italy in Securities Services and banking payment services.

We are looking for a Specialist, Credit Collection to join a dynamic international environment, with responsibility for credit management activities related to the Portuguese market.

Main Responsibilities

• Support the Credit Management Manager in handling portfolio activities and maintaining relationships with debtors.
• Participate in negotiations of payment plans.
• Send payment reminders and manage debtors' feedback.

• Native Portuguese speaker.

Location & Working Model

Hybrid Work Model: 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
