Salt Services SA is seeking a Billing & Payment Analyst based in Portugal to ensure accurate payment allocation, validate refunds, and manage commission-related processes. You will work with CRM/ERP systems and Excel, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies.

Fluent English (C2) is required; French is a plus. The role offers a hybrid work model after the trial period and benefits including meal/transport allowances and health insurance from month 6.

Qualificações

• Experience with CRM or ERP systems and Excel.
• Basic understanding of payment processes and transaction routing is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented and accurate, with strong attention to quality.
• Able to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
• Comfortable communicating and collaborating with different internal teams.
• Able to handle repetitive operational tasks while identifying discrepancies and anomalies.
• Fluent English (C2 level required); French is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Handle payment searches following customer requests.
• Prepare and validate refund orders.
• Perform bank reconciliation checks and production monitoring.
• Document payment-related incidents and ensure follow-up until resolution.
• Suggest improvements when recurring patterns are identified that could be avoided or optimised.
• Process commission clawbacks by including them in specific input files.
• Review partner complaints related to disputed commission amounts or clawbacks.
• Perform consistency checks and prepare adjustments for the monthly commission process.
• Create and update partner accounts in dedicated systems.
• Support other commissions-related activities and provide backup during absences.

As a Billing & Payment Analyst, the role involves ensuring accurate and efficient payment allocation, validating customer refunds, handling commission-related activities, and identifying and resolving discrepancies in day-to-day operations.

Note: we can only hire candidates already based in Portugal. If you are not a European citizen, you must be eligible for full-time employment in the country and/or hold a valid NISS and NIF number. Please apply with your resume in English.
