CloserHire is recruiting an Operations Customer Expert – Banking Expert for the English market in Lisbon. The role supports one of the UK’s leading digital banks and requires prior banking/financial services experience.

You will handle English-speaking customer inquiries via chat, phone, and email, resolve complex banking issues, and ensure compliance with procedures. The position is full-time, on-site in Lisbon with relocation support and a monthly gross salary of €1,819 plus a bonus up to €300.

Qualifications

• Fluent English required (spoken and written).
• 12+ months experience in banking/financial services; Irish market experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert customer support via chat, phone, and email for English-speaking customers.
• Resolve complex banking enquiries related to accounts, payments, disputes, and transactions.
• Act as a subject matter expert for banking operations within the team.
• Handle fraud investigations, chargebacks, and complaint resolution with high attention to detail.
