Job summary

Decskill is seeking a Technician Application Support to provide technical and functional user support across our Portugal-based teams. The role leverages ETL data integration experience and strong SQL skills to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.

You will collaborate with business analysts, developers, and IT Operations, building a knowledge base and supporting releases while staying proactive and customer-focused in a dynamic, international context.

Qualifications

• Relevant professional experience as an application support technician or as a business analyst.
• Knowledge of ETL data integration process.
• Knowledge of credit risk concepts (GRR, RWA, LGD, probability of default).
• Proficient in SQL.
• Autonomous and proactive person.
• Team player.
• Think outside the box and propose improvements for processes.
• Organizational skills.
• Good level of English.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level technical and functional support to users.
• Build and maintain a knowledge base about support issues and resolutions.
• Process requests for specific actions (processing, extraction, etc.).
• Create control points in procedures and draft ad hoc reporting.
• Understand business needs and convert them into detailed requirements and specs.
• Involve stakeholders in definition and validation of new requirements.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers and IT Ops through all development stages.
• Prepare environments for releases and ensure pre-production tests are conducted.
