Job summary

Decskill is seeking an Application Production Support Analyst to join our IT team in Portugal. You will be the first point of contact for production tasks, supporting end-users, developers and business analysts to resolve incidents and changes within SLAs.

Responsibilities include monitoring environments, preparing releases, supporting migrations, and collaborating with Development, Infrastructure and Operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in Application Production Support and IT Operations.
• Knowledge of incident, problem, change and service request management processes.
• Understanding of IT production environments and application support procedures.
• Fluent English (expert level).

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for IT Production-related tasks and inquiries, supporting end-users, developers and business analysts.
• Manage and resolve incidents, service requests, problems and changes, ensuring service restoration within SLAs.
• Monitor application and infrastructure environments to ensure service availability, stability and performance.
• Provide technical and functional support for in-house and third-party applications in production.
• Prepare environments for releases, perform pre-production testing and support successful implementations.
• Support migrations, re-hosting, batch configuration and infrastructure changes.
• Monitor batch processes and file transfers for smooth operations.
• Collaborate with Development, Infrastructure and Operations to investigate issues and implement solutions.
• Communicate incident progress and resolutions to users and stakeholders.
• Follow IT security, procedures and best practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement through automation and DevOps/ITIL practices.
• Participate in on-call support when required.
