About Responsibilities

KLx is strengthening its Payments Services team and looking for an Application Engineer Support (application integration) to support the deployment, reliability, and continuous improvement of the EPI/WERO applications across P2P, Consumers, and Acceptor domains. You will play a key role in environment setup, integration, observability, CI/CD, incident management, and collaboration with development, production, and business teams. This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role on real‑time, 24/7 critical payment applications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Application Integration & Environment Setup

• Support Application Owners (EPI/WERO) in building and evolving environments
• Define technical requirements for resilience, observability, and operability
• Integrate software components delivered by CAPS development teams (Shell scripts, Ansible, Jenkins jobs)
• Support QA teams (CQF) during testing phases
• Work with CAGIP for deployments in pre‑production and production

2. Reliability & Service Quality

• Implement CI/CD and DevOps practices on a real‑time, high‑availability application
• Perform operational maintenance (obsolescence, cold fixes, technical configuration)
• Provide application expertise to assess impacts, specify solutions, and test fixes
• Ensure alignment with roadmaps and long‑term technical strategy

3. Incident & Problem Management (Level 3)

• Act as L3 support for technical incidents (including hot fixes)
• Participate in crisis cells, incident committees, and problem reviews
• Contribute to on‑call rotations (1 week every 4 weeks)
• Set up technical alerts to detect service‑impacting issues

4. Cross‑Team Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with Development, Payment Keys, Group Infrastructure Platform, SDM, Application Owners, and Business teams.

Who You Are

• At least 3 years of experience in application integration or advanced L3 application support.
• Strong hands‑on skills with Linux, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, ArgoCD).
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and scripting (Shell, Ansible).
• Experience supporting real‑time, 24/7 critical applications with strong incident analysis (L3/RCA).
• Solid understanding of technical & functional architecture and modern observability tools (Dynatrace).
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Bruno) and security mechanisms (RSA, HMAC, mTLS) is a plus.
• Exposure to the payments ecosystem is appreciated.
• Comfortable communicating in French (B1) and English (B1).
