A leading company in healthcare solutions in Lisbon is seeking an Accounting Assistant to handle various accounting documents, support reconciliations, and prepare financial reports. The successful candidate will have a technical course or degree in Accounting or Taxation and solid knowledge of Portuguese accounting practices. Qualificações

• Solid knowledge of Portuguese taxation requirements.
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• Good knowledge of English or Spanish is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Post and classify accounting documents such as invoices and bank statements.
• Support in the reconciliation of suppliers.
• Prepare monthly and annual accounts.

Palex Portugal, a leading company in the management and distribution of innovative hospital and research solutions, is recruiting an Accounting Assistant.

Main Responsibilities

• Posting and classifying accounting documents (invoices, receipts, bank statements, etc.);
• Support in reconciling suppliers;
• Support in preparing monthly and annual accounts;
• Physical and digital archiving of accounting documentation;
• Communicating with suppliers and clients to clarify outstanding issues;
• Support in drawing up control charts and financial reports;
• Strict compliance with legal and internal deadlines.

Requirements

• Technical course or degree in Accounting, Taxation or similar areas;
• Solid knowledge of general accounting and Portuguese taxation;
• Good knowledge of MS Office tools, especially Excel;
• Sense of responsibility, organisation and attention to detail;
• Ability to work in a team and good communication skills;
• Knowledge of accounting software (preferably SAP or similar);
• Previous experience in a similar role;
• Knowledge of English or Spanish;
• Ability to adapt to dynamic environments.
