Job summary

Claranet Portugal in Lisbon is seeking an Operations Technician 24x7 to integrate our internal team. You will manage incidents and service requests, coordinate escalations, and ensure first-line resolution for infrastructure, networks, and applications.

You will work with monitoring tools and configure switches/routers while maintaining documentation. The role is 100% on-site with a 24x7 shift schedule, requiring a degree in Networking/IT or equivalent and strong teamwork and communication

Qualifications

Degree or technical qualification in Networking, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related field.
Previous experience in similar roles (preferred).
Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, Routing and Switching).
Knowledge of network equipment and solutions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Team-oriented mindset and strong sense of responsibility.

Responsibilities

Experience working with ITSM tools: Creation and management of Incidents and Service Requests; escalation coordination.
Ensure first-line resolution of incidents related to infrastructure, networks, applications, and security.
Escalate to second- and third-line support per KB procedures.
Experience with monitoring across multiple platforms and tools; monitoring and orchestration knowledge.
Configuration of switches, routers, and telecommunications equipment.
Technical support for internal teams and customers; maintain network records.
