Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a Travel & Expense Specialist in Wroclaw to process and monitor expense reports in SAP Concur, while driving process improvements for European markets. The role emphasizes multilingual communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in accounting (preferably T&E or Accounts Payable)
• Fluency in English and German (min. B2)
• Knowledge of SAP Concur, ServiceNow or Genesys is a strong asset
• University degree in Finance, Business Administration or similar
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Excellent prioritization and time management skill
• Reliability and ability to learn quickly and transfer knowledge
• Understanding/end-to-end S2P processes preferable but not must

Looking for a role where you are responsible not only for processing and monitoring of Travel & Expense tasks, but also take part in process optimization and development of further innovative projects within GBS Center? Help us build T&E Team for European markets.

Tasks & responsibilities

As a T&E Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Processing and monitoring expense reports in SAP Concur efficiently, effectively, and accurately, in line with tax and legal requirements as well as Boehringer Ingelheim internal guidelines
• Managing and prioritizing T&E tasks efficiently to ensure compliance
• Assisting and supporting T&E objectives in accordance with management decisions, while ensuring and monitoring proper execution of T&E processes
• Communicating with and supporting Boehringer Ingelheim employees regarding T&E-related queries (ServiceNow tickets), and answering employee phone calls (Genesys)
• Supporting Concur end users through organizing training sessions, preparing training materials
• Creating and maintaining internal process documentation

About our future employee

You should speak English and German fluently (min. B2 level) and have at least 2 years of professional experience in the accounting area, preferably in T&E or Accounts Payable. Knowledge of additional language e.g. Italian, Spanish, French will be considered as an additional asset.

Additionally, we are looking for:

• University degree (Finance, Business Administration or similar)
• Experience in working with SAP Concur, ServiceNow or Genesys will be a strong asset
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Excellent prioritization and time management skill
• Reliability, ability to learn new topics quickly and to transfer knowledge to others
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills
• Understanding/knowledge of end-to-end S2P processes would be preferable, but is not a must
