Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a System-Level Modeling Engineer with SystemC and embedded software expertise to join a global technology collaboration. You will architect models, lead firmware development, and work with hardware and software teams to define specifications and ensure seamless system integration.

You will mentor junior engineers, conduct design/code reviews, and drive performance optimizations while documenting APIs, workflows, and progress for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional embedded software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++, SystemC, and low-level hardware interfacing.
• Solid OS knowledge: drivers, memory management, bootloaders, scheduling; strong debugging (GDB).
• Ability to translate ambitious goals into concrete requirements, architectures, APIs and delivery plans.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement models and validation firmware for silicon components (boot ROMs, PCIe, USB, compute clusters).
• Lead the technical development of models, firmware, and embedded software.
• Collaborate with hardware/software architects to define specs and system integration.
• Mentor junior engineers in software design and firmware development.
• Participate in design and code reviews; drive debugging and optimization for performance and reliability.
• Provide clear technical documentation for models, APIs and workflows.
• Communicate progress, risks and challenges to stakeholders and management.
