Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a System-Level Modeling Engineer to join our embedded software team in Poland. The role focuses on SystemC modeling, low-level software development, and tight hardware-software collaboration.

You will architect models for silicon components, lead firmware efforts, and mentor engineers while delivering maintainable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in CS/CE/EE.
• 5+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Strong C/C++, SystemC, and hardware interfacing.
• OS concepts: drivers, memory management, bootloaders, scheduling; strong debugging (GDB).
• Ability to translate goals into concrete requirements and plans.
• Experience with SystemC simulators (Virtualizer/Helium) and Python/PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement models and validation firmware for silicon components.
• Lead the technical development of models, firmware, and embedded software.
• Collaborate with hardware and software architects to define specs and ensure integration.
• Mentor junior engineers in software design, firmware development, and best practices.
• Participate in design and code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability.
• Drive debugging and optimization to improve performance and reliability.
• Provide documentation for models, APIs, and workflows.
• Communicate progress, risks, and challenges to stakeholders.
