Job summary

Sii Poland seeks a System-Level Modeling Engineer to design models and validation firmware for silicon components using SystemC and C/C++. This role blends embedded software and hardware with collaboration across hardware and software teams.

You will lead model development, review designs, mentor juniors, and ensure performance and reliability through tight debugging and system-level optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of professional embedded software development experience.
• Proficient in C/C++, SystemC, and low-level software interfacing with hardware.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement models and validation firmware/software for silicon components (boot ROMs, PCIe, USB, compute clusters).
• Lead the technical development of models, firmware, and embedded software.
• Collaborate with hardware and software architects to define specifications and ensure system-level integration.
• Mentor junior engineers in software design, firmware development and best practices.
