Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced System-Level Modeling Engineer to join a global team. You will model and validate firmware for silicon components, lead development, and collaborate with hardware architects to ensure cohesive system integration.

Applicants should have 5+ years in embedded software, strong C/C++, SystemC, and OS driver experience, plus proficiency in Python or PowerShell and English. Poland-based, on-site role with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 5+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Strong C/C++ with SystemC experience and low-level hardware interfacing.
• OS knowledge: drivers, memory, bootloaders, scheduling; strong debugging (GDB).
• Experience with SystemC simulators and scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement models and validation firmware/software for silicon components.
• Lead the technical development of models, firmware, and embedded software.
• Collaborate with hardware and software architects to define specs and ensure integration.
• Mentor junior engineers in software design and firmware development.
• Participate in design and code reviews for high quality solutions.
• Drive debugging and optimization to improve performance and reliability.
• Provide clear technical documentation for models, APIs, and workflows.
• Work in a diverse team and contribute to a collaborative environment.
• Communicate progress, risks, and challenges to stakeholders.
