Sii Poland is seeking a System-Level Modeling Engineer with SystemC and SoC experience to advance our embedded software and system modeling initiatives. You will architect models, lead firmware and embedded software development, and collaborate closely with hardware and software teams to ensure seamless integration.

The role emphasizes mentoring junior engineers, participating in reviews, and delivering high-quality documentation.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in CS/CE/EE or related field.
• At least 5 years of embedded software development experience.
• Strong C/C++ with SystemC experience and low-level hardware interfacing.
• Solid OS understanding: drivers, memory, bootloaders, scheduling; debugging skills.
• Translate ambitious goals into concrete requirements and plans.
• Experience with SystemC simulators (Virtualizer, Helium) and scripting languages.
• Track record of shipped firmware or embedded software.
• Knowledge of drivers/DMA/PCIe/NVMe, image/video decoders, networking.
• English proficiency; residing in Poland.

Aufgaben

• Architect and implement models and validation firmware/software for silicon components.
• Lead the technical development of models, firmware, and embedded software.
• Collaborate with hardware and software architects to define specs and integration.
• Mentor junior engineers in software design, firmware development, and best practices.
• Participate in design and code reviews for quality and maintainability.
• Drive debugging and optimization to improve performance and reliability.
• Provide clear technical documentation for models, APIs, and workflows.
• Work in a multidisciplinary team and contribute to a collaborative environment.
• Communicate progress, risks, and technical challenges to stakeholders.
