Sii Poland is seeking a System-Level Modeling Engineer with SystemC and embedded software experience to join our collaborative project. You will architect and implement models, mentor engineers, and drive system-level development across silicon components.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in embedded software, strong C/C++, SystemC, and experience with drivers and pre-silicon environments. English proficiency and Poland residency are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in CS/CE/EE or related field.
• 5+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Strong C/C++ with SystemC and low-level hardware interfacing.
• OS concepts, drivers, bootloaders, memory management, and debugging (GDB).
• Experience with SystemC simulators and scripting (Python/PowerShell).
• Track record shipping firmware or embedded software, preferably pre-silicon.
• Experience in drivers/PCIe/NVMe is a plus.
• English language proficiency; Poland residency required.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement system-level models and validation firmware for silicon components.
• Lead development of models, firmware, and embedded software.
• Collaborate with hardware/software architects to define specs and ensure integration.
• Mentor junior engineers in software design and firmware.
• Participate in design reviews and code reviews.
• Drive debugging and optimization for performance and reliability.
• Create technical documentation for models, APIs, workflows.
• Work in multidisciplinary team and contribute to collaborative environment.
• Communicate progress, risks, and challenges to stakeholders.
