Sii Poland is seeking a System-Level Modeling Engineer with SystemC and embedded software expertise to join a collaborative project in Kraków. You will model and validate silicon components and drive the development of firmware and software for close hardware integration.

You will mentor engineers, participate in design reviews, and help translate ambitious goals into concrete specifications and delivery plans. The role emphasizes reliability and clear technical communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in CS/CE/EE or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in embedded software development.
• Strong C/C++ and SystemC experience interfacing with hardware.
• Experience with OS concepts, drivers, bootloaders, and debugging (GDB).
• Excellent communication and ability to translate goals into specs.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement models and validation firmware for silicon components.
• Lead technical development of models, firmware, and embedded software.
• Collaborate with hardware and software architects to define specs.
• Mentor junior engineers in software design and firmware.
• Participate in design and code reviews for quality.
• Drive debugging and optimization to improve performance.
• Provide documentation for models, APIs, workflows.
• Communicate progress and risks to stakeholders.
