Job summary

Scale-X Solutions is seeking an experienced Demolition Estimator to prepare accurate and competitive estimates for residential, commercial, and civil demolition projects. You will review drawings, scopes of work, and project specifications to determine labour, equipment, materials, disposal, and subcontractor costs.

You will collaborate with project managers, site teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure estimates are viable, timely, and well documented.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Demolition Estimator or related role.
• Experience estimating demolition or construction projects.
• Ability to interpret architectural, structural and engineering drawings.
• Strong quantity take-off and cost estimation skills.
• Knowledge of Australian demolition regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret drawings and specifications for demolition.
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs for demolition works.
• Estimate costs for demolition, dismantling, removal, and related works.
• Prepare detailed and competitive demolition tenders and quotations.
• Obtain supplier and subcontractor quotations and maintain pricing databases.
• Identify risks, constraints, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Support tender submissions and variations with accurate pricing.
