Job summary

DC&D is seeking a highly capable Estimator working remotely with a 40-hour week, on a permanent basis. You will lead tender preparation, perform BOQs and cost estimates, and liaise with PMs and QSs to ensure accurate pricing. The role supports post-tender activities and variation submissions during construction.

Responsibilities include take-offs with PlanSwift, subcontractor comparisons, and attending weekly estimating meetings. Morning shifts and home-based work are available.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to manage the preparation of accurate, professional tender submissions.
• Experience tendering commercial projects up to $10M.
• PlanSwift with Earthworks Pro; SimPro CRM preferred.
• Strong numerical and estimating abilities.

Responsibilities

• Estimate tenders from first principles to submission.
• Inspect tender documents and identify implications for the company.
• Prepare and issue tender documentation to subcontractors and suppliers.
• Take-offs using PlanSwift and perform subcontractor comparisons.
• Lead post-tender meetings and ensure timely submissions.
