Job summary

Scale-X Solutions is seeking a Senior Estimator for a permanent work-from-home role on AM shift. The candidate will prepare competitive cost estimates for formwork, concrete and REO packages across civil, residential, commercial and industrial projects.

Qualifications

• Requires tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 5-8 years estimating experience, ideally in formwork, concrete, or structural works.
• Proficiency in take-off software/tools and strong numerical/analytical skills.
• Solid experience interpreting architectural, structural & civil drawings.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the estimation process from drawings to final submission, including take-offs, costing, and tender submission.
• Review civil, commercial & structural drawings/specs; identify scope & risk; clarify with designers/subcontractors.
• Maintain and develop cost databases for formwork, concrete, and REO packages; prepare detailed cost breakdowns and contingencies.
• Coordinate with project management and operations to ensure estimates reflect constructability and site realities.
