Scale-X Solutions is seeking a motivated junior estimator to assist with estimating tasks using CostX and similar software, support contract administration, and provide general admin support. You will learn on the job with guidance and collaborate with clients and tradespeople remotely.

The role focuses on inputting plans, performing takeoffs for materials and costs, preparing tenders, and helping manage project timelines in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• 6mos to 1 year experience in construction estimating.
• Minimal experience in construction procurement.
• Basic knowledge of contract administration within a construction environment.
• Strong administrative skills, including data entry and managing project documentation.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work remotely with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Use CostX to manage the estimating process from earthworks to project completion.
• Input plans and specifications into the software.
• Complete takeoffs for all construction phases, including materials, labor, and costs.
• Prepare, review, and send tenders and pricing details to clients and contractors.
• Assist with the management and review of construction contracts.
• Track project timelines and budgets to ensure contract terms are met.
• Liaise with clients, tradespeople, and internal team members to ensure smooth project execution.
• Provide administrative assistance, including data entry, document management, and scheduling.
