Job summary

Guardian Glass is seeking an Architectural Design & Specification Engineer (German & English) to drive demand creation across the DACH region. The role combines technical glazing knowledge with commercial engagement with architects, consultants, developers, and contractors.

You will manage projects from concept through design to shipment, support using Guardian’s digital design tools, and work closely with Sales, TAC, and Marketing to maximize specifications and project wins.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field; or equivalent commercial/PM experience.
• Proven experience in customer-facing sales or specification roles.
• Fluency in German and English required for regional engagement.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop high-potential accounts across the DACH region using CRM data.
• Build relationships with architects, consultants, developers, glazing contractors, and other stakeholders to increase Guardian product specifications.
• Promote Guardian SunGuard and high-performance glazing solutions by influencing product selection during design/specification phases.
• Provide technical glazing recommendations based on project requirements including thermal, solar, acoustic, daylighting, and visual performance.
• Manage opportunities from concept to shipment while keeping Salesforce data accurate and up to date.
• Collaborate with Area Development Managers, Territory Sales Managers, TAC, Marketing to maximize project conversion.
